This tab of your Account Settings allows you to update your Account Name, Suffix and Equity Protection. To get to this tab select the purple cog button for the account you want to view/update the settings for. The first tab that opens will be the Account Details tab.
As described when adding an account, when editing your account name ensure you choose a descriptive name, especially if you're adding many accounts. For example, 'John Smith - Broker Name'.
Brokers can use different naming convention for symbols and with FX symbols a suffix can be appended to the name. An example is EURUSD.fx where .fx is the suffix.
When an account is added to the system it will make a best effort to determine what suffix is being used, based on the most common occurrence in the symbol list.
If a suffix has been detected, the suffix only will be set.
If no suffix has been detected, a blank will be set.
If the suffix has not been set correctly you can manually update to the correct value. For your convenience, a complete list of the symbols on the account are listed in the Symbols tab of the Account Settings modal.
